"If the sea is blue... is also thanks to the yellow fleet"

A training course on the subject of “Surveying and fighting marine pollution from oil and other hazardous substances” was held in the Auditorium of the Environment Ministry from 16 to 20 November. Promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of the Territory and Sea, it was organised by the Castalia Company for the benefit of officers from the Harbour Offices working in the environment sector throughout Italy, as well as personnel from ISPRA (Higher Institute for Environmental Research and Protection), from the Protected Marine Areas of Punta Campanella, the Cyclopean Islands, the Island of Asinara, Miramare and the Cinque Terre, as well as RAM and MATTM staff. The participants in the course were able to benefit from the contribution by Dr. Matteo Baradà ex-Director General of the Environment Ministry’s Central Inspectorate for Defence of the Sea.
